WHOOO’s up for a night of family fun!?
Marine Discovery Center will feature the fun, family film Hoot, presented by AdventHealth, on Friday, March 5 in the Hunter Amphitheater at MDC. This film is rated PG with a run time of 91 minutes. Join MDC for this feature presentation PLUS a visit from bird rehabilitator Gina Holt from Wild About Birds, Inc. and her amazing owls, Miko & Mr. Frodo, and optional owl pellet dissection program*!
Tickets
Squares are $25 each and can accommodate up to 6 people. Squares must be purchased ahead of time either online or by calling 386.428.4828. You must show either a paper confirmation or have it ready on your phone to be admitted to the event.

Gina Holt will do a free owl presentation at 5:30 on the amphitheater stage.
MDC educators will present an optional owl pellet dissection program at 5pm and 6pm near the pavilion. *This program has a small fee and must be booked ahead of time to ensure enough materials. Book the owl pellet dissection program online here.
Seating
The amphitheater will have 10′ x 10′ squares that will accommodate 6 people. We ask those who choose to view in lawn chairs utilize the top of the amphitheater hill with those watching on blankets using the lower level of the amphitheater hill. All seating opens when gates open at 4:45pm. and is on a first come, first serve basis.
Masks are required while moving around the amphitheater and at the concession stand. Once safely situated in your viewing square you can remove your mask.
Parking
Movies by the Marsh parking will be located in the large West Parking Lot located on Quay Assisi. Signs will be posted to help direct traffic. Please do NOT park in the main MDC parking area or the parking areas to the south and north of the main building. Gates will open at 4:45 pm.
Concessions
Hot Dogs / Nachos & Cheese / Popcorn / Water / Soda and more! This is a cashless event so please come prepared. No outside food or beverage will be allowed at this event.
Additional Info
MDC’s restrooms will be open. We will be allowing no more than 10 guest at a time inside the facility, and masks are required.
Please come prepared for the cooler weather with a blanket and/or jacket.
