Marine Discovery Center offers a unique waterfront setting along the Indian River Lagoon for community events, nonprofit and organizational gatherings, educational programs, concerts, festivals, and other approved events.
Rental Guidelines
As an active environmental education and conservation facility, our rental spaces are reserved for events that are appropriate for our campus and operations. MDC does not rent its facilities for private social celebrations, including weddings, birthday parties, baby or bridal showers, or similar events.
All rental requests are subject to availability and approval.
Hunter Amphitheater
(Paul B. & Constance D. Hunter Charitable Foundation Amphitheater)
MDC’s Hunter Amphitheater offers a unique outdoor setting for community events, concerts, festivals, educational programs, nonprofit gatherings, and other approved events.
The amphitheater has electricity available for outside audio/visual equipment, and convenient outdoor restrooms are available onsite.
Outdoor Pavilion
Our covered pavilion is a versatile outdoor space available for approved community, nonprofit, educational, and organizational events.
It features nine picnic tables and can comfortably accommodate up to 100 guests. The pavilion opens to a spacious grassy backyard and is just a short walk from the beautiful Indian River Lagoon.
